About Me

I’m Kai, I’m a PhD student at the Department of Statistical Science in UCL, supervised by Dr Kayvan Sadeghi and Dr Terry Soo. My research is primarily in graphical causal inference. I am also a teaching assistant for the Department of Statistical Science and Division of Biosciences in UCL. I also host the UCL Computational Statistics/Machine Learning ELLIS Seminars.

Prior to this, I obtained my master’s in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, with an emphasis on software, machine learning and control. I am open to related research opportunities both in academia and industry.

Our paper ‘Localised Natural Causal Learning Algorithms for Weak Consistency Conditions’ has been accepted for a poster presentation for the UAI conference in Barcelona!
